PLATO ON FASHION: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

STARSTYLING HAS ARRIVED

in the name of khora given by WE here at EVA NY.

Anyone keen to the history of philosophy is familiar with Plato's use of the Greek term khora. Jacques Derrida, the French philosopher, known to invent new terms such as differance, claims that khora is untranslatable. Namely, as a term, it is genderless and the closest interpretation is a sieve, holding place and/or womb. At best, to echo a new avant garde feminism, that knows nothing of first or fourth waves, WE, here at EVA NY translate it with personal stories. Hence, the impossibility not to speak of our mother's closet and its influence upon our own. Happy Mother's Day to all of you beautiful and wonderful women!
