We chose some of our favorite frames from our Selima Optique Shop in Shop to showcase on the blog:
A funky pair of Alain Mikli sunglasses that were used as a movie prop

And a pair of futuristic Christian Dior frames

Selima Optique at EVA

Last night was the launch of the Selima Optique Shop-in-Shop at EVA, which features Selima's latest Summer frames as well as a large selection of vintage frames from the likes of Givenchy, Lanvin, Dior, and Courreges. EVA surveyed the night's audience and snapped some pictures of the crowd.

She said it best when she said her pants just make her happy.

And the ladies behind the event, Selima of Selima Optique and Stephanie, owner and founder of EVA.

Here's the ZIA frame, an exclusive to EVA.

Just In: A(r)mor Jewelry

EVA is now carrying pieces from A(r)mor Jewlery, a line of body chains and chain-based jewelry. Launched last year, the New York-based designer Sandee Shin describes A(r)mor as a hybrid of soft, subtle draping with rougher, sexy chain materials. Now in its second season, A(r)mor already counts Nikki of Dirty Flaws, Rumi of Fashion Toast,  Michelle from Kingdom of Style, and Wendy from Nitrolicious as fans. Add EVA to that list, too.

Select chains and earrings, including the above-pictured "AEON," are available at EVA New York | 355A Bowery | NY, NY | Mon-Thurs 12-8, Friday, Saturday 12-9.

Customer Confidentials: Chris

Chris, one half of the millinery-duo I Love Factory, stopped by the store last week to take a look at his hats displayed in the store, and ended up falling in love with our Henrik Vibskov T-Rex pants.  Really. He wouldn't take them off. You won't
want to either.
